Curbed's recent post about a computer-designed, robotically-constructed bar by design firm Somewhere Something got me thinking.
A bar by Somewhere Something. Doesn't design this good deserve to be blown up? I don't mean explosively. I mean conceptually.
My first take on this inventive piece of structuralism was that it was the model for an apartment house. So why not?

Great collage. I am actually in the process of "blowing this up" right now. Not quite to the scale of an apartment building, but as an installation/display in a retail space on La Brea. Thanks for this post, I really enjoyed it.
